• 14C28N Lambsfoot Blade - Sandvik 14C28N sharpens back to a keen edge easily while resisting corrosion, though it gives up some edge life to when compared to harder tool steels. A brushed satin finish and heavy swedge along the spine slim down the straight-edged lambsfoot blade.
• Easy Open Slot - A crescent cut through the handle gives your thumb and finger a place to pinch. Pull and the lambsfoot swings out easily, no fumbling for a nail nick. It is an old cutlery trick that still beats plenty of modern openers when access matters.
• Slip Joint with Half-Stop - No lock here, just a backspring doing honest work. The blade stops dead at ninety degrees going open and again coming closed, and it snaps shut with a clean report. That half-stop helps keep your fingers clear while the edge is on its way down.
• Vintage Red Jigged Bone Covers - Bone jigged by hand gives every set of covers its own run of ridges and dye, so no two knives read quite alike. Brushed stainless bolsters and liners frame the covers, with nickel silver pins and a diamond shield set into the mark side.
