Spyderco's Endura, big sister to the Delica, has been a cornerstone of their everyday carry product line since its introduction in 1990. The 4th Generation of the Endura lightweight was upgraded with a 13 mm RoundHole, spine jimping, reinforced blade tip, skeletonized liners, Bi-Directional Textured FRN scales and a four-position screw on clip. A new twist on this classic is the introduction of the straight edge Wharncliffe blade profile. This version comes with a flat ground, plain edge Bohler K390 Wharncliffe blade and dark blue FRN handles.

Blade: Fully flat ground K390 tool steel comes in a Wharncliffe profile with a razor sharp, clean slicing plain cutting edge and stunning satin finish. Wharncliffe blades have the advantage of delivering full power through the cut from heel to tip. Spyderco's ambidextrous Round Hole opener makes for smooth, easy, one hand operation even in gloves. A jimped thumb ramp provides added control in both fine and heavy work.

Handle: Spyderco's Bi-directional textured FRN offers exceptional traction in the hand with contoured edges and an ergonomic design that delivers comfort in extended use. A sturdy mid-back lock design is easy to operate and comes with the Boye Dent for enhanced security when gripping the handle with heavy pressure. Bohler K390: Bohler K390 is high wear tool steel made with 3rd Gen particle metallurgy processing developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. K390 offers very high level edge retention, comparable to 10V or S110V, with good toughness. Corrosion resistance is low, similar to M4.
