The Spyderco C41 Native Lightweight is a fifth generation model Native and the first Native in the Salt Series. A classic Golden, Colorado back lock, the Native has proven itself to be a workhorse in any situation and is now optimized for saltwater environments. For cohesion with the rest of the LC200N equipped Salt models the Native 5 now comes in green FRN. This version has a satin finished fully serrated blade.

Blade: Flat ground with an aggressive SpyderEdge serrated blade, the Native 5 Salt is a powerhouse for EDC cutting tasks and slices and pierces with confidence. The serrated edge handles tough materials with ease while the balanced performance and exceptional corrosion resistance of LC200N makes it perfect for use in marine environments. Jimping on the spine and finger choil give traction and excellent control for security in hand.

Handle: The injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is both lightweight and incredibly durable with high traction bidirectional texturing for exceptional traction. The mid-back lock, four position clip option and RoundHole make the Native 5 fully ambidextrous. All black hardware and clip protect against corrosion while the bright green FRN makes the knife easy to locate.

LC200N: LC200N (A.K.A. Cronidur 30 or Z-FiNit) is a high nitrogen alloy steel produced using PESR (pressurized electro-slag remelting) technology, delivering a pure steel with fine microstructure. Used by NASA for ball bearings, LC200N offers exceptional corrosion resistance, toughness, and ease of sharpening for knife blades with edge retention better than other steels with comparable qualities (similar to Nitro-V, 14C28N).
