The Spyderco PITS Blue Titanium Slip Joint is the product of the imagination of designer Mike Read. The PITS, or "Pie in the Sky", was designed to be a heavy duty slip joint knife for use in the UK where knife laws are very strict in regards to locking blades. The strong backspring utilizes the users hand to help "lock" the back in place, and the blade tip is placed just above center to help further prevent accidental closure. Brand new directly from Spyderco Knives.
The Blade: Operating as a slip joint without a lock, the blade has an iconic Spyderco round hole for opening. Flat ground N690Co stainless steel provides excellent slicing capabilities. At just under 3 inches, the blade is a legal length for many places throughout the world.
The Handle: Blue anodized machined titanium frames have six large holes drilled out. This simple addition provides extra grip, reduces weight, and amplifies the look. Includes reversible stainless wire clip for tip up carry.
