The Tidioute #14 Crown Lifter with Orange Crush Acrylic scales is an interesting pocket companion with a neat party trick and lots of utility. A sheepsfoot blade adds cutting power, while a cap lifter blade doubles as a flathead screwdriver. Smooth acrylic handles keep the hotspots away during hard use.
1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. Some makers use a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine for enhanced performance.
