The Tidioute #19 Little Rattler from Great Eastern Cutlery is a small, single blade interpretation of the classic serpentine whittler design. Outfitted with Kingwood scales and polished nickel silver bolsters, the compact Wharncliffe blade is the perfect choice for precision detail work.

Blade: The slim 1095 carbon steel Wharncliffe blade is fully flat ground and satin finished for a good-looking, hardworking blade perfect for controlled precision work. It opens via a single nail nick with a pronounced half stop, confidently snapping into the open position. The blade is etched with a "Little Rattler" logo and the standard markings stamped into the tang.
Handle: A compact, serpentine pattern handle delivers a comfortable three-finger grip. Smooth Kingwood scales are pinned to brass liners offers durability and a warm in hand feel with classic style while the stainless back spring delivers secure, non-locking operation. Polished bolsters at either end and a matching Badge shield round out the construction.
Each GEC knife ships wrapped in wax paper inside a tube with company information on the front.
1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
