Billet aluminum and 154cm offer a rugged and durable blade that comes in at a scant sub-3oz. weight. An excellent choice as a light weight companion when every second counts.

The Blade: The Black 154cm blade delivers a good blend of edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness while being easy to sharpen to a razor-like edge. The dagger like grind and thin blade stock provide optimal cutting performance and piercing capability while the false edge on the spine remove the 3551 from the true "dagger" classification. The partially serrated blade delivers aggressive cutting power against heavy material like rope and webbing while the black blade keeps the visual profile low and adds protection from wear and corrosion to the blade. An enlarged button deploys the blade fast and smooth as well as offering sightless indexing of the blade. A simple slide prevents unintentional deployment.

The Handle: Blasted and anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum scales provide solid traction and are comfortable in multiple grip positions. The linerless construction give the Stimulus an ultralight sub-3oz. weight, a dream to carry every day. The plunge lock is solid and reliable and a simple slide safety can be engaged while the blade is open for extra security during serious use.
