Designed by Matthew Christensen of Christensen Knifeworks, the CIVIVI Thug 2 offers his custom design in a budget friendly full production platform. The liner lock Thug 2 retains the eye-catching compound ground Tanto blade with dual thumb stud opening. Skeletonized liners and flat scales offer a more utilitarian handle that is slim in the pocket and comfortable in use. This version comes with a black San Mai Damascus blade and Cuibourtia wood handle scales.

Blade: The compound ground Tanto is striking and functional with a flat ground tip for strength in piercing and flat surface cutting and a slicing hollow ground primary edge. A ceramic bearing pivot makes the action fast and smooth with ambidextrous deployment via the dual thumb studs. Black hand rubbed stainless San Mai Damascus delivers balanced performance and a stunning look.

Handle: Black skeletonized stainless steel liners support handsome Cuibourtia wood scales for a solid, lightweight, and secure handle. A partial back spacer holds an inline pin for lanyard attachment while the scalloped liner lock is easy to operate with solid lockup for safe use. 

Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry clip.

Chinese San Mai Damascus: Produced in multiple patterns, Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel with striking visual appeal from the pattern welded layers. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
