The Heretic Knives Manticore-S is the smallest of the Manticore Series of double action, out the front, automatic knives. The scaled down Manticore-S has the same contoured, 3D machined, aircraft grade aluminum handle with traction scallops around the edge for a comfortable and secure grip in the hand. This version comes with a Battleworn black coated Elmax double edge blade, black handle frame and translucent Jade green G10 back cover and slide.

Blade: The sleek, hollow ground, dagger like double edge blade offers powerful piercing performance and balanced slicing and durability with an aggressive look. Dual hollow grinds make the tip more acute for piercing and provide double the slicing edge in the same blade length. High quality, Bohler Elmax stainless steel delivers a balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. Black coated and tumbled, the Battleworn blade offer a rugged finish that hides wear from use while being discreetly non-reflective. Deployment via the double action automatic mechanism is fast, smooth and reliable. Simply press the Jade G10 thumb slide up to open and down to close.

Handle: The milled, black anodized aluminum frame and G10 composite cover offers just under 3.5 inches of handle, long enough for a solid grip with no excess real estate for ease of carry. Contoured handles have smooth chamfered edges paired with strategically placed scallops for a perfect blend of comfort and traction. The front and back of the handles are sterile for a clean look with company, model markings and serial number on the spine. The Jade G10 back cover offers a contrasting look and feel while reducing weight. The handles are completed with black Torx hardware visible on the back, an integral lanyard hole and hardened steel glass breaker inset in the pommel.
