Brushed satin stainless steel bolsters frame hard wood handle scales with a subtle contour that looks and feels great. The premium stainless steel blade riding on Mcusta's special oiled washer system for smooth operation and a full length steel back spacer delivers a welcome heft in the hand. This version comes with ironwood handle scales and a San Mai SPG-2 stainless steel blade.

Blade: Made from premium, San Mai SPG-2 stainless steel the drop point blade has silky smooth operation thanks to Mcusta's special oiled washer system. Dual stepped thumb stud/stop pins offer ambidextrous operation while the flat grind on the blade provides powerful slicing performance balanced with good durability. Striking and stylish, the crowned spine and faux hamon line of the San Mai cladding make this an excellent choice for dress carry.

Handle: Robust steel liners support striking brushed satin bolsters for a timeless look paired with precision fit, contoured ironwood scales that are durable, warm and comfortable in hand. A generous index finger groove provides added safety paired with the stainless liner lock which is rock solid and reliable in use. A hole at the pommel end allows for lanyard attachment.

Carries via an inline stainless steel pocket clip or nylon belt pouch.

San Mai SPG-2: Super Gold 2 (A.K.A. SG2, SPG-2) is a Japanese powder metallurgy stainless steel with a fine microstructure and good toughness. It is a high hardness steel with better toughness and corrosion resistance than S30V and edge retention similar to S35VN. SG2 is easier to sharpen than S30V or Elmax.
