The RoseCraft Obed Creek Bow Trapper in Dapper jigged bone is a traditional pocket knife that snaps shut like a mousetrap on its single steel backspring. Hand-jigged covers, a spade shield, and a satin 14C28N drop point finish the package.

• 14C28N Drop Point Blade - 14C28N is a mid-grade stainless chosen for corrosion resistance which comes back to sharp on a basic stone, trading away some of the edge retention harder tool steels give you. A heavy swedge thins the tip for detail work under a brushed satin finish.
• Dapper Jigged Bone Covers - Cut one at a time by hand and dyed, the bone runs from golden amber honey to deep rich brown, so no two sets match. Brushed steel bolsters flank them, the front one fluted, over steel liners, nickel silver pins and a stainless spade shield.
• Half Stop Slip Joint Action - A firm nail nick pull and a single steel backspring put a hard snap on both ends of the swing. The half stop catches the blade dead center for safer closing and the crisp walk and talk that traditional fans chase.
• Hand-Pinned & Twice Checked - RoseCraft precision cuts and grinds the parts, then a craftsperson assembles, fits and pins each knife with a hammer and hand tools, hafts the covers flush to the bolsters, and sharpens the blade by hand. Every knife is opened and checked twice, at the factory and again in Maryville, Tennessee.
