The TK-1 custom fixed blade knife from maker Tom Krein is an iconic neck knife design that offers comfort and performance in a sub-3 oz. package. Two inches of razor sharp CTS-XHP make this drop point a slicing powerhouse while Tom's Orange and Black Carbon Fiber handle provides comfort and control thanks to his pommel swell design.

The Blade: The short drop point blade of the TK-1 is made from shallow hollow ground XHP that provides a high level of corrosion resistance and D2 like edge retention for extended cutting performance. A top swedge on the delivers a fine tip for piercing and detail work. The grind is satin finished and Krein-sharp. The full tang construction is beautifully satin finished with the Krein Knives Logo and XHP marked on the blade. A generous index guard pairs with the unique handle design for security in the hand.

The Handle: Orange and black Carbon Fiber handle scales are smooth and contoured for comfort on the ergonomically designed handle. The two-finger cutout on the handle facilitates security and fine control during use while the large pommel swell lock the knife in the hand. The scales are attached via a mosaic pin and hollow lanyard tube.

The Sheath: ships in a custom-fit black Kydex sheath with ball chain for neck carry.
